The project in Gladsaxe, outside Copenhagen, will provide new groups of residents and businesses with a more reliable and energy-efficient district heating supply, which meets environmental requirements and reduces CO2 emissions. Work on the project will start in early 2024, with expected completion in 2027.
The new agreement marks a continuous decade of collaboration between Gentofte/Gladsaxe Fjernvarme and Hoffmann AS:
“The agreement is the result of successful collaboration over several years. We are extremely proud to have once again been chosen by Gentofte/Gladsaxe Fjernvarme to carry out their expansion and efficiency improvement of the district heating network,” says Kasim Hwaiz, department manager at Hoffmann AS.
The contract includes construction of 16,500 metres of main line and 36,000 metres of secondary line to over 1,300 customers. During the contract period, Hoffmann will also maintain contact with road authorities, affected customers, the police and other relevant authorities, as well as carry out static calculations of pipes.
The contract is included in the order book for Q4 2023.
