The new Eleonoraskolan will cater for a total of 915 pre-school to ninth grade students, and will consist of two independent buildings connected by a canopy. A separate sports facility will house school and club sports activities and a youth club. Also included are technical buildings. Before construction of the new school can commence, a 1970s school currently located at the site will be demolished, with the exception of two active emergency shelters.
“We are excited to finally start construction of this project, which is part of a major school initiative in the Hallunda-Norsborg district by Botkyrka Municipality. We think the school will provide an amazing study and working environment and contribute to the positive development of the entire district, says Robin Andersson, project manager for Eleonoraskolan in Botkyrka Municipality.
“We are very pleased that Botkyrka Municipality has entrusted us with the construction of a new school for our children and youth. We can't wait to start creating a good environment for students as well as sports clubs and other associations,” says Niklas Widell in Arcona.
The contract is included in the Q2 2023 order book.
