“We have been a part of building Sotra Kystby on Straume since its inception in 2009, and we are proud that we once again are part of a construction project that contributes to shape the new urban centre area of Øygarden municipality. The project is based on our concept and a joint development process with Altus Eiendom,” says district manager Erlend Bygnes of Veidekke Bygg Bergen.
Kysthagen has been well received in the housing market. The project has great variation in apartment types, in addition to attractive and adapted outdoor areas with an associated park, benches, barbecue area and playground. It is only a short walk to the sea at Straumsundet and Sartor Storsenter with more than 160 shops, restaurants, cinema and other services such as doctor and dentist. Bergen city centre is a mere 15 minutes by car.
“One of best things for us at Veidekke is when we get the opportunity to use all of our creativity and expertise in close interaction with the customer. Together we create good projects that the market wants and that contribute to positive social development. The partnership with Altus Eiendom has developed over many years, and we really appreciate the trust they have placed in us once again,” Bygnes concludes.
Construction work starts this March. More information on the project is available at https://kysthagensameie.no
