Veidekke has been commissioned by Feyer Eiendom AS to construct the Feyer Brygge housing project in the inner harbour of Egersund. “We are very happy to have won the competition for this commission and to have gained renewed trust from a good customer in Egersund. This is a very fine project of high quality and many exciting challenges, including establishing new land in the sea. We have long and extensive experience with this type of project and look forward to starting. It is both gratifying and understandable to see the interest this project is generating and that apartment sales have gone so well in a rather demanding market,” says district manager Bendik Aarstad of Veidekke Bygg Rogaland.

The three apartment buildings will be of five, six and seven floors and the apartments vary in size from 65 to 205 m2. There will be parking downstairs, shops on the ground floor and offices on two of the floors in block A. Almost the entire plot currently consists of the sea, so new land will be established with a promenade on the seaside, boat piers and beautiful outdoor areas. The centre of Egersund is just a short walk away, with restaurants, shops and cultural life.

"We are delighted to sign yet another contract with Veidekke Rogaland as we embark on a major new construction project in Egersund. This is a project that will mean a lot to the town and we have put a lot of effort into creating a project we can be proud of and which is not only attractive to home buyers, but also to all the residents of Egersund,” says general manager Evy Skåra Myklebust of Feyer Eiendom.

Design work is due to start right after the summer holidays and construction is scheduled to start in November when the spawning season for salmon is finished and work can start in the sea. The homes will be ready for occupancy by the second quarter of 2026.

This commission is included in Veidekke’s order book for Q2. Read more about the project here.
