To construct new wind farm for Eolus

Veidekke has signed a new agreement with Eolus Vind AB to construct the foundation and roads for 31 wind turbines to be built in Bäckhammar in Kristinehamn and Degerfors municipalities in Sweden. The contract value is SEK 182 million.

The project is a design and build contract comprising the construction of foundations and roads and the related installation of electric cables. Work on the project started in early January, and will be completed by February 2020. The two companies have cooperated on several previous projects.

The contract is included in the order book for the fourth quarter 2018.
