The first building stage comprises eight storeys with 43 apartments on the top seven floors. The ground floor will consist of commercial areas and parking. Following the construction of a new factory for Lerum at Kaupanger, the old juice and jam factory on the quay in Sogndal has been demolished and the site is now ready for construction. The residential project will have a unique location on the quayside facing Sognefjorden, right in the centre of Sogndal, yet shielded from traffic.
“Following a lengthy, close and good partnership with Lerum Brygge and Veidekke Eiendom/Nordr Eiendom on the development and design, it is now finally time to start the actual construction work. It is an honour for us to build this attractive residential project in such a prominent and central location in town,” says district manager Rune Karlsen of Veidekke Bygg Sogn og Fjordane.
Construction will start this autumn, with completion scheduled for September 2022. More information on the project: www.lerumbrygge.no
