This is the first of the main contracts relating to Bane NOR’s InterCity project on the Kleverud-Sørli-Åkersvika stretch of the Dovre Line. Works include just under five kilometres of groundworks between Kleverud and Espa for the new dual track route designed for speeds of up to 250 km/h, including the three kilometre Hestnes Tunnel.

The commission is included in Veidekke Infrastructure’s order book for the first quarter of 2022. Veidekke will begin design work and preparatory activities with immediate effect, while construction work is scheduled to kick-off during the second quarter.
