Veidekke has appointed Lars Erik Lund (47) as a new member of the company's corporate management team. Lund has been appointed as the Executive Vice President responsible for Communication and Public Affairs, and he will also have overall responsibility for the group's compliance work.
Lars Erik Lund has more than 20 years of experience with communication work in various organisations. For the past 15 years, he has worked as an adviser to the management of a number of listed companies. He was involved in the establishment of Crux Kommunikasjon - a leading consulting environment for corporate communication and investor relations - and he has also been an adviser to Veidekke. For the last two years, Lund has been employed as a special adviser to the corporate management team of Statoil in the field of financial communication.
"Revenues of close to NOK 30 billion and more than 7,000 employees in three countries requires increasingly more in the field of communication of public affairs. It is in light of this that the company is strengthening its corporate management team in this strategically important field," says Arne Giske, President and CEO of Veidekke ASA.
Lund has an advanced business administration degree from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen. He will start in his new position at Veidekke on 1 October.
After this, the corporate management team will consist of Dag Andresen (Construction Norway), Jørgen Wiese Porsmyr (Industrial, Property Norway and Construction Denmark), Jimmy Bengtsson (Construction Sweden and Property Sweden), Hege Schøyen Dillner (HR, HSE, Environment and Legal), Terje Larsen (CFO, Strategy and Procurement), Lars Erik Lund (Communication and Public Affairs) and Arne Giske (President and CEO).
