Veidekke to build flats in Stockholm

Veidekke Entreprenad is to build 70 climate-smart flats for the Strandlycka housing cooperative by the Bällsta River in Bromma . Work commences in the spring of 2011 and completion is expected in the autumn of 2012. The project is a turnkey contract with a value of SEK 115 million excluding VAT.

"All of the flats will have a prime location next to the Bällsta River and close to the Marabou Park. In addition to the recreational areas, buyers will have a short walking distance to the centre of Sundbyberg, public transport and services," says Alf Tördal, project manager of Veidekke Bostad AB.

A new residential area suitable for families is emerging. Three new parks are planned, in addition to day care centres and schools. The new homes will have good layouts and will be climate-smart. The flats vary in size from two to five rooms, and all will have triangular balconies or outdoor spaces.
