Veidekkes' subsidiary Kolo Veidekke has requested assistance from the Norwegian Competition Authority to clarify what may be a possible breach of the Competition Act.

The background for the move is that information has emerged internally at the operation in Trøndelag that may form the basis for such suspicion, and that Kolo Veidekke wishes to confirm or disprove this as soon as possible.

Today the Norwegian Competition Authority has started work on collecting possible evidence, and has visited our units/departments related to our asphalt operations in Central Norway.

The issue is related to asphalt operations, and it must be emphasized that so far it is merely a suspicion. More information will be provided when a final conclusion is available.
