Remuneration of the board of directors and group management

Board remuneration is set by the general meeting based on recommendations from the nomination committee. The remuneration reflects the board’s responsibility, expertise and time spent, and is independent of the company’s financial results.

The salary and other compensation of the Group CEO is set by the board of directors, while remuneration paid to group management is decided by the Group CEO in consultation with the board chair. Veidekke seeks to offer competitive pay conditions but does not wish to be a wage-driver. The group has established a bonus scheme and a share option programme for management.
